A setting of the old Irish folk song "Slane," also known as the hymn "Be Thou My Vision." Originally scored for brass quintet, I scaled this up to a full British-style brass band instrumentation. There are still plenty of tender, introspective moments, but the bigger ensemble lends it a sense of majesty and grandeur that I find quite joyful! Enjoy.
